Ciao! we are the family of Naixin, nice to meet you!
There is something I want to tell you. When we know that our daughter would go to Ivrea with AFS ,my husband went to book shop to buy a map of Italy, and then we found where is Ivrea, at that time, we felt that Ivrea is so far from us, but now we feel it’s nearly!!
During the passed half year my daughter in Ivrea, we felt how friendly the Italian people are, and how much the helps AFS gave!! also felt the host family Pascarella made my daughter like stay at her family.
I felt that my daughter has changed ,her world, and her thinking about the culture, this is why we let her to go to the other country, to find her way of life! now she can do a lot of things by herself, also can speak Italian, all of this things make me so happy!
But thanks a lot for AFS in Ivrea, school, host family.

Ciao!! Siamo la famiglia di Naixin, è un piacere conoscerti!!!
C’è un episodio che vogliamo dire: Quando abbiamo saputo che nostra figlia sarebbe andata ad Ivrea con AFS, mio marito è andato in una libreria per acquistare una cartina dell’Italia, abbiamo scoperto dove era Ivrea, in quel momento ci siamo resi conto che Ivrea era così lontana da noi, ma ora abbiamo capito che non era così!!!
Durante questi mesi trascorsi da nostra figlia ad Ivrea, abbiamo percepito il popolo italiano con amicizia e quanto aiuto lei abbia ricevuto da AFS. La sua famiglia ospitante Pascarella l’ha fatta sentire proprio in famiglia.
Sento che mia figlia è cambiata, la sua visione del mondo e della cultura è cambiata…questo è il motivo per cui noi genitori lasciamo partire i nostri figli, perché trovino il loro modo di vivere. Ora riesce a fare tante cose per se stessa, può anche parlare italiano, tutto questo mi rende felice!
